Putter Insurance Value
FedEx insures all of our outbound packages for the dollar amount you specify on the Custom Shop order form. The following is a breakdown of the additional fee to expect for insuring your putter:
- $.00-$100 = $.00
- $100.01-$500 = $2.50 minimum
- $500.01- $3000 = $.50 per $100 of value
If you want to insure your putter for more than $3000.00 please make arrangements with an alternate insurer for full coverage. FedEx will not be held responsible for shipments or claims exceeding $3000.00 in declared value.
Custom Work vs. Restoration
Custom Work entails any service performed at the Custom Shop that DOES NOT include a full Restoration of your putter(s). Authentication, Personalization, Stamps, Additional Dots & Lines, Reshafting, Adjustments, Weight changes, Grips, Shaft Bands, Headcovers and Paintfill services fall under “Custom Work”. An approximate turnaround time is listed at the top of the Custom Shop order form.
Restoration involves stripping your putter's finish, removing minor scratches, dents and dings from the putter head, re-milling the face and returning the putter to its original, like-new condition. Through the restoration process milling patterns on the face will be altered. Our technicians will use the closest, most appropriate milling pattern for your generation putter. Additionally, many of the original finished previously offered cannot be replicated through a restoration. On most putters you can select your choice of our Silver or Black finish, which is included with restoration; see Finishes below for more information), including new custom or original paintfill. Additionally, we will install a new shaft, shaft band, grip and standard Custom Shop headcover (you may choose to upgrade your grip, headcover or shaft band to a shaft ring for additional charges), and make loft, lie and length adjustments per your request (within reason). Restoration is $325 and includes your choice of either our Silver or Black finish. Restoration of putters with inserts is $450.
Insurance

Circle T/Tour Only putter restoration pricing:
The charge for restoration of a Circle T/Tour Only putter that is hand stamped or has an insert is $900.00.
The charge for restoration of a "deluxe" putter with a two-tone finish or a welded neck is $1,100.00.
When we receive your putter into the Custom Shop, our team will contact you for any additional charges that may be necessary. With a Circle T/Tour Only putter restoration you may also select a new Circle T/Tour Only grip of your choice at no charge (exotic or premium leather grips excluded)

Aluminum Putter Restoration
California environmental regulations restrict us from restoring aluminum putters such as the Futura, Detour, Studio Select Kombi and Caliente models. Please uncheck the "Add Restoration" check box if you have one of these putters and were trying to get it restored. We do offer many other Custom Shop services for these putters, such as Reshaft, Grip, Headcover, Stamps, Paintfill, etc.
Restoration

NOTE: Restoration of California putter models results in loss of the round "California Sun" effect on the sole of the putter.

Additionally, we will install a new shaft, shaft band, grip and standard Custom Shop headcover (you may choose to upgrade your grip, headcover or shaft band to a shaft ring for an additional fee), and make loft, lie and length adjustments per your request (within reason).
PLEASE NOTE:
- With a restoration, we replace the sole weights with new weights. The older-style “flat weights” that came in the Studio Select and Honey Dipped California models, will be replaced with the more-modern sole weights.
- We are unable to offer restoration on Cameron & Crown, My Girl, MOTO and Holiday Putters.
- Restoration of California putter models results in loss of the round "California Sun" effect on the sole of the putter.
- We no longer offer restoration with a Pro Platinum finish.

Also, the Custom Shop can personalize most putters with initials and/or name stamping, apply special Custom Shop stamps, mill additional sight dots and/or sight lines, adjust headweight (on applicable models), as well as authenticate your putter.
AUTHENTICATION
Authentication is offered at $95 on Restoration orders.
FINISHES
The choice of a Custom Shop finish with restoration has been simplified. Most Scotty Cameron putters can be restored to either our silver-colored or black-colored finish. Finish choice is included in the price of restoration. And, the Custom Shop stamp is no longer a requirement with a finish change. This change in our services expands the possibilities for those customers with silver-colored stainless steel putters that can now be finished in black. This is the first time this has been offered in the Custom Shop.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Stainless Steel Putters
- Stainless steel putters restored with our “Silver” finish will receive the same raw stainless steel finish as they originally were made with, restored to like-new.
- Stainless steel putters restored with our “Black” finish will receive the same durable black finish as our black Select putters introduced in 2012. This glare-reducing finish can now be applied to any stainless steel putter model (i.e., Studio Stainless, Red X, Studio Style, Studio Select, California, etc.).
Carbon Steel Putters
- Carbon steel putters can no longer be restored with our “Silver” Pro Platinum finish. This finish has been discontinued as of Feb. 2020
- Carbon steel putters restored with our “Black” finish will receive our current Classic Black finish, which is black oxide. This finish can be applied to any carbon steel putter model (i.e., Classics, Teryllium, Pro Platinum, Oil Can Classics, Studio Design, Mil-Spec, Circa ’62, etc.). We no longer offer Oil Can as a finish option.
TOUR FINISHES
Tour-only finishes are not available unless the putter sent to the Custom Shop came with a Tour-only finish originally applied by the Scotty Cameron Tour Department. These include, but are not limited to: Chromatic Bronze, Chromatic Blue, Copper and Gold. Oil Can finishes are no longer offered. If you have a Tour putter and have questions about the finish options available with restoration.
PRO PLATINUM, OIL CAN, BLACK PEARL & CHARCOAL MIST FINISHES
The Custom Shop does not offer Pro Platinum, Oil Can, Oil Can Mist, Black Pearl or Charcoal Mist finishes. See the Finishes section above for our options.
ALUMINUM PUTTER RESTORATION
California environmental regulations restrict us from restoring aluminum putters such as the Futura, Detour, Studio Select Kombi, Red X Mids & Longs, Select Big Sur and Caliente models. Please DO NOT check the "Add Restoration" check box if you have one of these putters. We do offer many other Custom Shop services for these putters, such as reshaft, grip, headcover, stamps, paintfill, etc.
AFTERMARKET FINISHES
We cannot perform ANY work on a putter with an aftermarket finish and must return it as-is (less shipping) unless the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop restores it.
IF YOUR PUTTER CANNOT BE RESTORED
If a putter is too damaged for restoration or has infringing marks, all charges will be credited minus the cost of shipping and we will return your putter.

Finish
Authentication
This option is not available for this model.
Authentication
The Authentication Department has been established to maintain the integrity of the Scotty Cameron brand by providing the facts about a Scotty Cameron putter or product by determining if a putter or product is authentic, has been modified in the aftermarket, or is counterfeit. The Authentication Department will not include player information or historical data related to a putter submitted for Authentication.
The authentication service is unbiased and based completely on the facts of the putter or merchandise received. A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) will be provided determining the authenticity of a putter. The putter will also be added to our authentication database providing easy online access to authentication information and photographs based on the COA number.
Personalization
Custom Shop reserves the right to stamp initials in the most appropriate location.
This option is not available for this model.
Initials
In most cases, initials will be stamped where you indicate on the Custom Shop form. However, in some instances, the Custom Shop may find it necessary to stamp in another location depending on the putter model. The Custom Shop reserves the right to stamp initials and bumper names in the most appropriate location, as well as select the appropriate font size and spacing.
Bumper Stamping
This is a great way to truly personalize your putter. The Custom Shop reserves the right to stamp in the most appropriate location, as well as select the appropriate font size and spacing.
Since the Custom Shop hand-stamps putters (we do not engrave), you may occasionally see "mushrooming" around a stamped character. During the strike of the hammer when the stamp is applied, the metal is literally pressed out and up from beneath the stamp's impression. This is a mark of craftsmanship and displays Scotty's commitment to the personal attention each putter receives.

Stamps
Choose up to 4 stamps. Placement varies based on putter model. Stamps can't be added to the face of deep milled putters (i.e., California, Select). The Custom Shop reserves the right to stamp in the most appropriate locations. Each stamp - $30.00

We offer eight stamps in the Custom Shop. Each stamp is $30.00. On many Scotty Cameron putter models, you can add stamps in up to four (4) locations in any combination you choose. If you want stamps in the Cherry Dot circles on any putter, choose “Paint New Customizations Only – No Charge” from the Paintfill drop-down menu and click on the color you’d like us to apply once we stamp the putter. There is no charge for paintfill re-application on new customizations like initials, bumper stamping or stamps. Keep in mind that stamps in Cherry Dots/Bombs appear best with translucent paintfill. If your putter arrives at the Custom Shop with another Custom Shop-applied translucent paintfill color (i.e., Emerald Green, Lime Green, Blue, Orange or Purple), we will remove that color, apply the stamps you choose, then repaint in the same paintfill color if you do not indicate a new color choice.
Tour stamps (i.e, Scotty Dog, Peace Sign, Skull & Crossbones, etc.) are not available in the Custom Shop. Scotty hand-stamps these only on Tour putters.

Additional Sight Dots & Sight Lines
Sight dots and sight lines are $30 for the first one and $10 for each additional. You cannot add a sight dot and a sight line on the topline; you must choose one or the other.
We cannot weld up or remove production sight lines, site dots or engravings, and will not mill sight lines over existing sight dots, sight circles, engravings, stamps or original markings.
Reshaft
Reshaft
A new shaft, shaft band and grip are included in the price of a Reshaft. Only certain grips are included, however, and they are listed as No Charge in the Grip menu after you select Reshaft (the Custom Shop order form will refresh with new pricing).
If you do not make a choice of grip, we will replace your grip with the original grip made for your putter (tour, prototype & limited grips not available). Our premium grips (normally $37.00+) are discounted by $15.00 when a Reshaft is selected. See the Grips section for available grips, prices and/or to change your grip selection.
A Reshaft is required if you are lengthening your putter. A new grip is required if you are shortening your putter, but you do not have to get a Reshaft. Please keep this in mind if you are filling in your Desired Length under the Adjustments section.
We do not save or return shafts, shaft bands or grips. Our shafts are recycled. Also, it is quite acceptable to send in just your putter head for a Reshaft. It can save on your shipping cost, as well as packing material. JAT.
Adjustments
Adjustment
Loft and lie adjustments are free with any order of $45 or more. Length adjustments do incur additional charges on non-Restoration, Custom work-only orders. If you are requesting that we shorten your putter's length, we cannot reuse your original grip (we do not save grips) and you must purchase a grip. If you are having us lengthen your putter, we must Reshaft your putter ($45.00). An original grip is included in this service price, and you may choose to upgrade to a different grip if you like for an additional charge. Please see our Grips menu for details.
Lengthening a Putter
If you want the Custom Shop to lengthen your putter, you must also purchase a Reshaft, as we will have to install a brand new shaft. We offer three ways lengthen your putter: 1) choose Lengthen ½" from Original, 2) choose Lengthen ½" from Received, or 3) enter your Desired Length in the drop-down menu under Length Adjustment. If your Desired Length is longer than the putter you're sending in, please select Reshaft (a grip is included). Also, if you have a Studio Select putter with factory interchangeable weights, you may consider having the Custom Shop remove some weight.
Shortening a Putter
If you want us to shorten the length of your putter, you must purchase a new grip. We do not have to reshaft your putter, however we do need to cut off the grip and install a new one. We offer three ways to shorten your putter: 1) choose Shorten ½" from Original, 2) choose Shorten ½" from Received, or 3) enter your Desired Length in the drop-down menu under Length Adjustment. If your Desired Length is shorter than the putter you're sending in, please choose a grip from the Grip menu. Also, if you have a Studio Select putter with factory interchangeable weights, you may consider having the Custom Shop add some weight.
Loft & Lie Adjustments
Loft and lie adjustments are included in the price of Customization and/or Restoration (i.e., included with any order of $45 or more).
Putter Length to Weight Recommendations
The following table provides a guide when changing the length and/or weight of your Scotty Cameron Studio Select or California putter.
- Every Studio Select and California putter has two factory interchangeable weights. The individual gram weight of each weight is listed here.
- Swingweights are listed with a +/- 2 swingweight point range, as the actual swingweight of any given putter may vary within these ranges.
- One inch of shaft equals 6 swingweight points, so please take that into account when changing shaft lengths.

putter head, or if you prefer a different increment of Tour weights, our customer service team will

Weight
Many Scotty Cameron putters (e.g., Studio Select, California, GoLo, Futura X, Concept X, Futura and Select) have sole weights that can be changed by the Custom Shop or with a Scotty Cameron Weight Tool. Click on the drop-down menu in the Weight section to select the weight for your putter. Note: We only ship fully assembled putters from the Custom Shop. Putters with removable weights that are sent in without weights must leave the Custom Shop with weights installed by our staff.
Returning weights: Old/existing weights will be returned on applicable orders. You are free to remove weights prior to sending your putter to the Custom Shop. However, new weights must be installed by us before the putter leaves the Custom Shop. Weights will only be installed in equal increments (e.g., we won't put 20g in the toe and 10g in the heel). Different engraved characters of the same weight increment can be ordered for the heel and toe per the Custom Shop options order form. NOTE: Weights for the Studio Select Kombi-S, Futura and Red X putters WILL NOT be returned.
Circle T weights: As of August 2, 2010, Circle T replacement weights for a Studio Select Tour/Circle T putter are $125 for stainless steel Circle T weights (2 x 10g, 2 x 15g,2 x 20g) and $165 for copper-tungsten Circle T weights (2 x 25g, 2 x 30g). A Custom Shop representative will contact you if your order contains a Circle T putter.
Add 10 grams note: The Custom Shop can add 10 grams of weight to the back weight of all Studio Select Kombi putters and 34" and 35" Kombi-S, Detour, Red X and Futura putters (except Phantom Mallets). Stock 33" putters come with as much weight as we can add to these models, so we cannot add 10 grams to 33" Kombi-S, Detour, Red X or Futura putters.
Add 20 grams note: The Custom Shop can add 20 grams of weight to 35" Kombi-S, Detour, Red X and Futura putters (except Phantom Mallets). We cannot add 20 grams to the back of a Studio Select Kombi putter with a 20 gram weight already installed.
Kombi Standard note: The Custom Shop can change the toe and heel weights and/or the back weight of a standard Studio Select Kombi putter. To add weight to a standard Kombi back weight, please select Kombi-S from the drop-down, and select Add 10 grams for $35.00. In the Notes section, please write: "Add 10 grams to back weight. To change heel and toe weights, please select Kombi Standard from the drop-down menu, then order the weights you'd like. You can select Engraved Weights. If you'd like to switch all three weights, please select the heel and toe weight options, then add in the Notes section what you would like in the back weight, and a Custom Shop representative will call you to complete your order.
Kombi Mid note: Only toe and heel weights can be adjusted. Weight cannot be added to or removed from the center weight.
Kombi Long note: Weight cannot be added to this putter.

Grip
Grip
With Restoration, Reshaft or Length Change - The Custom Shop will replace your grip with an original design that matches the model/era of the putter sent in unless another grip is chosen. You can choose any grip you like from the Grip menu.
Changing putter length - If you request a change to your putter's length, we must install a new grip. Certain grips are included in the price of a Restoration and/or Reshaft.
One grip per putter - Only one grip per putter is available on a Custom Shop order. Grips available on Custom Shop orders are not sold separately and must be installed at the Custom Shop before we return your putter.
Studio Store grips - For an assortment of grips that we sell separately, please see the online Scotty Cameron Studio Store under Accessories. These also ship separately and cannot be included or shipped with your Custom Shop order.
(NOS) - New Old Stock; a newly made grip in the original design.
Grip tape - Grips are installed at the Custom Shop using one wrap of tape. If you desire additional wraps, please specify in the Notes box at the bottom of the Custom Shop order form.
Mid-Size grips - Mid-Size grips are slightly larger in thickness than our standard grips. They are equivalent to about 4 total wraps of tape versus our standard one wrap.

Shaft Band
The Custom Shop will replace your shaft band for no charge during a restoration, reshaft or when a putter arrives with a worn or missing band. The Custom Shop reserves the right to place the shaft band in the most appropriate location. Tour, limited and specialty shaft bands are only available as replacements on putters that originally came with them. The Custom Shop will not apply Tour, limited or specialty shaft bands to other putters.
One shaft band per putter - Only one shaft band per putter is available on Custom Shop orders. Shaft bands are not sold separately and must be installed at the Custom Shop before we return your putter; we will not include loose shaft bands when returning your putter.
Application - We apply shaft bands vertically down the shaft of stepless shafts and wrap them around horizontally on stepped shafts.
Shaft Rings - A new grip purchase is required for installation of a shaft ring.
Headcover
Headcover
With Restoration - A Custom Shop Black Nylon headcover matching your putter’s head shape is included in the price of Restoration. If you do not choose a different headcover from the menu, the appropriate Custom Shop Black Nylon headcover will be included with your putter.
One headcover per putter - Only one headcover per putter is available on a Custom Shop order. Custom Shop headcovers are not sold separately and must be included at the Custom Shop before we return your putter.
Studio Store headcovers - For an assortment of headcovers that we sell separately, please see the online Scotty Cameron Studio Store under Accessories. These ship separately and cannot be included or shipped with your Custom Shop order.

Paintfill
Choose up to 4 paintfill colors. You can use the notes section for paint requests. Otherwise, our team will determine the best placement on your putter.
Paintfill
You can select up to four colors for your putter's paint scheme. The Custom Shop reserves the right to apply your chosen colors in the most appropriate locations on your putter. Although we strive to customize your putter with your chosen theme, school colors, favorite team, etc., we cannot fulfill every request. For example, we do not alternate paintfill on every other letter within an engraving, and we do not create custom blended colors.
Click on the paintfill color(s) you want, and you'll see a highlight appear around your choice(s). You can specify in the Notes box if you'd like your sight line(s) and/or sight dot to be a certain color. For example, if you have selected translucent emerald green, translucent orange, translucent purple and white as the color scheme for your putter, you can simply state in the Notes section: "Please paint sight line white."
There are several ways to have your putter's paint scheme customized, re-applied, changed or refreshed.
- Paintfill only - For $78, the Custom Shop will apply new custom paintfill of your choice or repaint your putter to its original design. Choose “Repaint with Custom Colors” or “Repaint with Original Colors” from the Paintfill drop-down menu. If you are only adding personalization (i.e., initials or bumper stamping), new stamps or sight dot/lines, we will paint the new customizations for free. Simply select “Paint New Customizations Only – No Charge” from the drop-down menu.
- Restoration -New paintfill is included in the price of our full Restoration service. Click on your selected colors and the information will be included on your order. You can also choose to have us repaint your putter to its original colors.
Putters with more than four colors - Scotty made certain putters (i.e., the Studio Style line) with more than 4 colors. If your putter's original paintfill contains more than 4 colors, and you choose to customize your paintfill rather than opt to have it repainted to its original color scheme, please indicate your additional color choice(s) in the Notes box.

Notes
The Notes section is reserved for brief comments related to your Custom Shop order. Although you may want to elaborate at length regarding your putter, it is highly recommended and greatly appreciated if you keep your notes brief, clear and to the point. Custom Shop work is performed at the discretion of Scotty Cameron and not all requests can be fulfilled.
