The Studio Design 1.5 is a flanged blade with a pocket made for the player demanding precise feel and feedback. The 1.5 features a slant neck, rolled topline and a high toe for a distinctive profile. Milled from soft carbon steel, Scotty refined the Studio Design models in 2003 with a new, virtually maintenance free finish called Black Pearl.  This corrosion-resistant finish, with its dark smoke color and iridescent look, has great sound and feel.
