Getting Started

We have made it easy for you to submit a putter to the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop. Simply follow the steps below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (760) 591-9720 or by email at: customshop@acushnetgolf.com

Step 1: Select "View Options" from the Custom Shop menu
Select "View options" to go to our online order form and enter all of the necessary information, including payment information.

Step 2: Order Placement & Review
Entering a Custom Shop order is done entirely online. Keep in mind that when you click certain selections (i.e., Restoration or Reshaft), the order form will refresh with updated options and applicable pricing. Once you have filled out the Custom Shop order form and completed a credit card transaction, you will receive an email receipt with an order number and our shipping address. We charge a $45.00 deposit for each putter, but do not charge the order in full until your putter is received by the Custom Shop. You can make changes to your order up until the moment your putter is received at the Custom Shop. Choose View Orders from the Custom Shop menu, log in and make your changes. You'll receive another email confirmation of your order changes. Upon your putter's arrival, we charge the remaining balance and send you an email receipt. Any changes beyond this point must be done via phone, and will incur a $25.00 change fee. When your putter is finished, you'll receive a final email with your tracking number and a final receipt of the work completed.

Step 3: Package Preparation
Print your packing slip (available online when your order is entered) and include it in the box with your putter(s). Write the order number boldly on the outside of the package and secure the address label extremely well (most shipment losses are due to torn labels). Please package your putter carefully using paper or an old headcover that you don't need back. Please DO NOT use popcorn foam packaging or excessive tape that must be cut away to access your putter. What may seem like protection in transit may potentially harm your putter if we have to cut away lots of tape and bubble wrap, etc. Another putter packing tip that can save shipping costs is to simply send us the putter head in a small box. If you're getting a full restoration or reshaft, we use a brand new shaft anyway. You may want to insure your putter(s) for an appropriate amount.

Step 4: Shipping
Pick an insured, carrier with tracking capabilities and confirm that your package is properly labeled and boxed. Ship it to us at the following address:

Here’s a look at what happens once we receive your putter.

1. Shipment Notification
When your putter arrives we will access your order in our database and promptly send you an e-mail that your package has arrived safely. We will charge your order in full and send you an email receipt. We will then begin the restoration/customization process.

2. Inspection
Your putter will be fully inspected and a specification sheet will be generated that follows your putter throughout the process. We will review your spec sheet and confirm that your request for services can be accommodated. If we find that we cannot complete one of your requests, we will contact you to find a resolution.

3. Restoration and/or Customization
Based on your requests and specification sheet, Scotty's Custom Shop crew will begin to perform specified services.

4. Return shipment
Once we complete the restoration/customization/authentication process, we will ship your putter(s) and documentation via FedEx. We have FedEx Express Saver, 2nd Day and overnight shipping options. We will send you an e-mail, which contains a tracking number that can be used to follow the progress of your package. We can ship internationally to most addresses via FedEx. Customers are responsible for all duties and customs surcharges in their home country. If your credit card transaction is approved by our system (i.e., using VeriSign), then we will most likely be able to send your putter internationally. Please call the Custom Shop if you have any questions regarding international orders, as not every address and/or transaction will be possible. For example, we cannot ship to AFO/FPO addresses at this time.
