Getting Started

We have made it easy for you to submit a putter to the Scotty Cameron Restoration Department and Custom Shop. Simply follow the steps below to submit your putter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (760) 591-9720 or by email at:  customshop@acushnetgolf.com

Step 1: Select “View Options” from the Custom Shop page
Select  “View options” to get your online submission form and enter all of the necessary information, including payment information. View the sample submission form to preview the information required. Once all the necessary fields are filled in we will ask you to submit your requests.

Step 2: Standard Specifications
We will provide you with a list of the standard specs for your putter.  This designates the work that we are going to do.  If you want to leave anything original and or you have any special requests, this is where you identify them. Once you are finished with your restoration specifications, you can Continue and checkout or you can Proceed to the Custom Shop and make additional modifications. Once you have filled out and sent your list of requests, you will receive a return email as your submission receipt.  The email will contain an order number and a shipping address to send your putter.  Print two copies of this document to be used in the final steps.

Step 3: Package Preparation
Enclose one copy of the submission receipt with your putter(s) and use the second copy to address the package and as a record of your submission. Write the order number boldly on the outside of the package and secure the address label extremely well (most shipment losses are due to torn labels). Please package your putter carefully and insure your putter(s) for an appropriate amount. View the carrier information for shipment recommendations.

Step 4: Shipping
Pick an insured, traceable carrier and confirm that your package is properly labeled and boxed. Ship it to us at the address provided.

Here’s a look at what happens once we receive your putter.


1. Shipment Notification
When your putter arrives we will access your order in our database and promptly send you an e-mail that your package has arrived safely. We will then begin the restoration/customization process.

2. Inspection
Your putter will be fully inspected and a specification sheet will be generated that will follow your putter throughout the process.  We will review your spec sheet and confirm that your request for services can be accommodated.  If we find that we cannot complete one of your requests we will contact you to find a resolution.  Once you receive your spec sheet from the Studio, please review it carefully and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

3. Restoration and/or Customization
Based on your requests and specification sheet, Scotty’s Custom Shop will begin to perform specified services.

4. Return shipment
Once we complete the restoration/customization process we will ship your putter(s) and documentation via FedEx. We will send you an e-mail, which contains a tracking number that can be used to follow the progress of your package.  A final sheet noting all services and putter specifications will be included with your returned package.
